ArchiKids was founded by Alicja Nowicz, an artist and designer working at the intersection of visual arts and architecture. Each year, she invites a different co-facilitator to join her to run the camp together—someone with a background in architecture, design, or visual art—bringing new perspectives to the experience.

Alicja studied art and architecture in the UK and Switzerland, and earned a Master’s degree from the Sandberg Institute (Rietveld Academy) in Amsterdam. She has led the Amsterdam Space & Sound Club since 2014 and previously worked at the Amsterdam International Community School (AICS).

With a strong interest in creative education, Alicja draws from a wide range of teaching methods and international experiences. She sees herself as a facilitator of creative growth—someone who guides, listens, and provides tools rather than instructions. Her practice is interdisciplinary and socially engaged, rooted in experimentation and a playful use of diverse media.
